Andy took Leighton to the first annual Daddy Daughter Valentines Dinner for the Alvarado ISD Last night. Leighton felt so special just having some time with her daddy and getting to get all dressed up. Andy even ordered her a coursage. Her first. tears sniff sniff tears. She is getting so big. Any way she had the best time and was talking all about it this morning. I have to say that Andy is the best dd i could ask for for our children. He loves them so much and is so involved in everything they do. I am so thankful for him. Love you Babe.

i remember when she was a toddler & my mom would bring her up to visit me at school! one time she came walking down the hall with my valentine's day gift! :)
i can't help but get teary-eyed reading this and seeing these sweet pictures!! it seems like just yesterday when, like, 20 of us were LITERALLY laying on top of each other outside the delivery room door waiting to hear her first cry! :) and look at her now....we are all so proud of her. i'm so happy andy got to take her on her first date and got her her first corsage! no one can ever take that away from her. i can totally see these pics being in a slideshow at her rehearsal dinner or wedding reception!! :) WAY TO GO ANDY! rhett got a little sad last night when i showed him the pic of the corsage....he said he'll never know that feeling of going on a date with his daughter. :( thank you so much for sharing!
