Leightons Surgery

Hey guys, Leighton had her surgery this morning. It was so great. The surgery lasted only about 30 minutes and by the time andy and i got into the recovery room she had drank a glass of juice and was eating a popcicle. She has a sore throat of course and is having trouble keeping anything down but she is doing as well as can be expected. We are keeping her drugged up per drs orders. I will post pics later. Thank you for your prayers. I think this might be the end of our constant illnesses. Oh yeah on a positive note....Leighton qualified top inher class for the math fly which is like a spelling bee but for math. Unfortunatly she wont be able to compete because it is next monday but just the fact that she qualified is awesome..

Surgery is over

Hey all just quick update. Steven had his surgery today and all signs lead to looking like it was a success. We wont know anything for sure for about 6 weeks but we go back on monday and we will have a little better picture. He is doing as well as can be expected. He isnt able to keep anything down but that is normal. He has eye pain but it isnt all the time really just shooting pain when he tries to move his eye. All in all though he is such a trooper and doing great. Well talk to you later

SHe is having her surgery on April 30th. they will putting titanium tubes in here ears, and removing her tonsils and adenoids. Will keep you updated.

surgery time

Hey guys, Just wanted to update you. Steven is having surgey This Thursday April 17th. He is scheduled for around 9:00 am. We should be leaving the hospital around 1 that afternoon. He will be at the Pediatric surgery center in Plano. We will keep you updated and let you know what all is going on. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Stevens appt

WEll we had Steven's specialist appt this morning. He has been diagnosed with Strabismus in both eyes. there are 2 types one that can be treated with glasses and one that cant. In his case it cant be treated with glasses so of course we are going to have to put him through eye surgery on both eyes. The surgery is day surgery but he will have a recovery time. We arent sure if this will correct everything but we are hopefull. Please keep him in your prayers and if you could toss a little one up for andy and i that we dont get too stressed out emtionally and financially it would be greatly appreciated. We will keep you updated on both of our kids surgeries. Thanks

Well here they are. The boys "awesome" school pics. Not really. They just werent into the entire picture process. Trust me you will be able to tell in the pics. LOL. Also Steven'd eye problem is very clear. Oh well they are a memory. GOtta LOVE them.
